Welcome to my profile! With a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern, where I graduated summa cum laude, I have honed my expertise in the investment banking sector through roles at Evercore and Credit Suisse. As a former Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore, I bring firsthand experience from one of the top firms in the industry. Today, I am a senior analyst at a credit fund. Over the years, I've successfully coached many students and can provide references upon request, helping them navigate the competitive landscape of investment banking recruitment. A few recent hires include Evercore RX, Greenhill, and Centerview (can provide references). Whether you're looking to perfect your resume, ace your interviews, or strategize your career path, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. About Gregory
I grew up competitive — first through chess, where I learned how to think several moves ahead, and later academically at a top-ranked high school. That mindset carried me to NYU Stern, where I graduated with a 3.95 GPA and served as President of one of the school’s top investment clubs. Despite doing everything “right,” recruiting was not straightforward. My path into finance was far from linear, and I ultimately found myself facing a last-minute decision between Evercore M&A and Houlihan Lokey Restructuring — a choice I had to make without a clear playbook. I joined Evercore and became a Generalist there, where I worked on complex M&A transactions and later took on responsibility as a recruiting captain, helping evaluate and select incoming analysts. I now work at a credit-focused investment fund, where I evaluate risk, structure, and downside protection for a living. Across investment banking, restructuring, and credit investing, I’ve seen the process from every side of the table — candidate, analyst, and interviewer.
Why do I coach?
I coach because the recruiting process is far more broken than people admit. While I had plenty of buy-side internship, it was very difficult for me to know what to say and to whom. At Evercore, I watched exceptionally intelligent, hardworking students fail interviews for reasons that had nothing to do with their ability to succeed on the job. They didn’t miss offers because they weren’t smart — they missed because they didn’t understand: How interviewers actually evaluate candidates How to answer simple behavioral questions correctly Which technicals matter — and which ones don’t How to communicate competence under pressure Meanwhile, others with weaker backgrounds but better preparation consistently outperformed. Over time, I mastered the recruiting process — not by memorizing answers, but by understanding the logic behind interviews. Since then, I’ve helped dozens of students land roles at top investment banks, private equity firms, and investment funds. My approach is practical and honest: No fluff No recycled prep guides No pretending interviews are about perfection I teach students how to think like an investor, communicate clearly, and avoid the small mistakes that quietly kill offers. If you’re capable but frustrated — or you feel like you’re doing everything right and still not breaking through — that’s exactly who I work best with.
