Description
After countless months wading through exams, essays, and applications, getting waitlisted can be a disappointing and anticlimactic result. The school likes you — but they want to see progress or updates in certain key areas. I will begin by assessing your application and identifying these shortcomings. Then, we'll hold a strategy call to determine a multi-pronged action and communication plan, and I'll review each of your waitlist updates to the school. Given how challenging it is to get in off the waitlist, I offer Waitlist Support as a distinct and heavily discounted Hourly Service. Since 2017, waitlisted clients that I've worked with have been accepted at around 4x the average rates.
What you'll get from this package
Preliminary review of your application materials to assess profile, goals and potential reasons for waitlist — I provide this for free
Strategy call where we create an action plan, outline your waitlist update topics and timing, and brainstorm your first written overture
Detailed offline / in-document reviews of each of your waitlist overtures (e.g., one 300- to 400-word update every 2 to 3 weeks)
Additional strategy and brainstorming calls as needed — most waitlist processes take several weeks or more and require multiple overtures
Schools' waitlist processes, allowances (i.e., what they permit or require), and decision timelines vary — we will tailor our plan accordingly
