About Francis
I grew up navigating systems that weren't designed with me in mind and learned early that the difference between spinning your wheels and finding your footing often comes down to one thing: having someone in your corner who's walked a similar path. That experience shaped everything about how I think about careers, mentorship, and what it means to truly belong in a room you had to fight to get into. I'm an actuary by training, a strategist by practice, and a coach by conviction. I also know what it's like to want more than just a successful career, to want one that's sustainable, meaningful, and worth showing up for decades from now. Outside of work, I'm a passionate about music (soul, R&B, jazz), a lover of culture in most of its forms, and the kind of person who thinks the best conversations are the ones that challenge you to see something differently. That's exactly the kind of coaching relationship I aim to build. If you're looking for someone to hand you a framework, I'm probably not your person. If you're looking for a thought partner who will push you, level with you, and help you build a career that's actually yours, then let's talk.
Why do I coach?
In my career across corporate and Big 4 consulting roles, I quickly learned that technical mastery and execution are only half the battle. The leaders who truly broke through weren't just the most skilled - they were the ones with clarity about where they were going and why. That clarity didn't come naturally to me. It took working with an executive coach to give me something no promotion or high-stakes project ever had: the ability to see my own career from the outside. For the first time, I stopped optimizing within a system and started asking whether I was building the right one. That shift changed everything. It was so formative that it eventually changed my path entirely. After 16 years navigating high-pressure environments in insurance, technology, and transformation, I became a coach because I know what it feels like to be the capable, driven expert who still can't quite see the full picture. I'm now passionate about helping leaders bridge that gap - from being the best in the room to becoming the one who defines what the room is for.
