Felipe has helped clients get into these companies:
Ready for a bigger healthcare role, but not sure how to position the experience you already have? Many talented healthcare professionals have the expertise, judgement and credibility to step into senior leadership, consulting, policy, life sciences, health-tech or advisory roles. What they often need is help translating that experience into a clear story, a confident interview narrative and a stronger executive presence. I bring 22 years’ experience across clinical practice, public health, healthcare leadership, workforce strategy, policy and responsible innovation. My career has taken me from frontline clinical practice to senior provider leadership at Barts Health NHS Trust and national health system leadership at NHS England, with work spanning safer staffing, service transformation, international recruitment, maternity workforce strategy, health technology, responsible AI-enabled change and major public health programme implementation. For more than 15 years, I have mentored and coached healthcare professionals and senior leaders across the UK, Europe and Latin America. I now offer executive and career coaching for clinicians, healthcare managers, policy professionals and aspiring healthcare advisers seeking to move into senior leadership, healthcare administration, consulting, life sciences, health-tech, advisory board or system-level roles. I help clients sharpen their professional narrative, prepare for interviews and advisory discussions, build executive presence, translate clinical, operational or policy expertise into strategic influence, and position themselves confidently for complex healthcare leadership opportunities. My work is grounded in public health and health economics, with an MSc from Queen Mary University of London. I am also a Fellow of the Royal College of Midwives, a Florence Nightingale Scholar and a Leadership Fellow at St George’s House, Windsor Castle. If you are ready to think more strategically about your next move, I would be pleased to work with you, Felipe.

About Felipe
Healthcare professionals often reach a point where their experience is bigger than the story they are telling about it. I help them change that. I started my career as a nurse and midwife, then moved through public health, senior maternity leadership, national policy, workforce strategy and health technology, including serving as NHS England’s National Head of Midwifery Clinical Workforce. That journey taught me how powerful healthcare experience can be when it is translated well. Clinical judgement, leadership under pressure, policy insight, emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex systems are all strategic assets. My role is to help clients see that clearly and communicate it with confidence. Through Leland, I support clinicians, healthcare leaders, policy professionals and aspiring advisers preparing for senior transitions into consulting, life sciences, health tech, advisory work, executive leadership or system-level influence. My coaching is practical, honest and supportive. Together, we sharpen your professional narrative, prepare for interviews and advisory conversations, strengthen executive presence, and position your experience in a way that feels credible, ambitious and authentic. If you are ready to take your healthcare experience into a bigger arena, I would be glad to help you make that move well.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it feels like to stand at the edge of a bigger career and not yet have the words for it. At key moments in my own journey, people saw something in me before I could fully see it myself. They challenged me, steadied me, and helped me step into rooms that once felt out of reach. Their belief changed the way I saw my own potential. I also know what it takes to move between worlds. My career began in frontline nursing and midwifery, then grew into public health, senior maternity leadership, national policy, workforce strategy and advisory work. Those transitions can be exciting, but they can also feel lonely, uncertain and difficult to explain. Many healthcare professionals carry exceptional experience but undersell it. They have led under pressure, made complex decisions, built trust, improved services and navigated systems that most people will never understand. The challenge is often not the value they bring. It is finding the language, confidence and strategy to communicate it. That is why I coach. I want people to recognise the value they already hold, speak about it with conviction, and take their next step with clarity, courage and credibility.
