I coach because I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative mentorship can be — especially for those navigating institutions that weren’t built with them in mind. As a law school graduate, federal judicial clerk, and former tech policy employee, I’ve worked across some of the most competitive legal and policy environments. But long before that, I was a first-generation college student from a working-class, Caribbean-American family, who found refuge and possibility in online communities. Over the years, I’ve helped others chart similarly complex paths — from public interest law to BigLaw, clerkships to tech policy. Coaching allows me to pay forward the support I once needed, while offering strategic, honest guidance to clients who are looking to break into competitive spaces or pursue unconventional goals. My approach is thoughtful, individualized, and informed by deep experience in law, government, and the tech sector. Whether you're applying to law school, preparing for a federal clerkship, or considering a pivot, I’ll work with you to build a compelling narrative and a clear strategy — grounded in authenticity, excellence, and long-term vision.

About Dylan
Dylan K. Moses | Harvard Law | Federal Clerk | Tech Policy Advocate Hi, I’m Dylan — a Harvard Law graduate, former Law Review editor, and a current judicial law clerk. Before law school, I spent several years at Google and Facebook working on trust & safety, platform governance, and counterterrorism policy. I've also practiced as a civil rights law clerk at Wilson Sonsini and served as a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center, where I focused on the First Amendment and AI governance. If you're thinking about law school, clerkships, or how to break into tech policy or public interest law, I can help you craft an authentic, values-forward application strategy — and stand out in a crowded field. Whether you're navigating 1L recruiting, pursuing a non-traditional path, or writing a personal statement that blends policy and purpose, I’ve been there and can help you tell your story powerfully. My coaching style is thoughtful, strategic, and grounded in real-world experience, from the Hill to the Harvard reading room to platform policy rooms at YouTube HQ.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve been the outsider — the only Black kid in a private school, the scholarship student in spaces where people didn’t expect me to belong. I know what it feels like to shape-shift to fit in, to hide parts of yourself to succeed, and to wonder if you’re really good enough, even when you are. Coaching, for me, is about giving people the support I wish I had: someone who sees the full picture, believes in your potential, and helps you navigate gatekept institutions with clarity, confidence, and authenticity. Whether you're the first in your family to go to law school, making a pivot, or carving your own path in public interest or tech policy, I want to help you show up as your full self and win.
