About David
Hi! I’m David – a Harvard Business School graduate and former Bain & Company Consultant, Case Team Leader, and Manager ranked in the top 5% of my class as someone who “Frequently Exceeds Expectations.” I know what it takes to break into – and succeed at – the world’s top consulting firms. I have a strong foundation in finance, strategy, and operations built over many decades. I began my career in banking at Lehman Brothers then Morgan Stanley after graduating magna cum laude in Finance from the George Washington University in 2008. I earned my MBA from HBS in 2016, then spent over six years at Bain before I left to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship and coaching in 2022. My time at Bain involved leading consultant teams to develop top-level strategic recommendations for C-Suite executives of Fortune 500 firms, with extensive experience in Go-to-Market strategy, Commercial Excellence and Mergers & Acquisitions. Having navigated my own career change to ultimately land - and thrive - at Bain after graduate school, I know firsthand what it takes to break into consulting whether it's your first job or a career pivot. I help clients craft a compelling narrative, highlight transferable skills, and deliver THEIR unique story that best resonates with MBB recruiters. Regardless of the firms you're recruiting for, my coaching will give you the edge you need to stand out. Ask me anything or book a free intro call to learn more!
Why do I coach?
I. Love. Coaching. I really do. I'm an older brother, both by blood and through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, and I've been a mentor in many other ways throughout my life. I've been blessed with incredibly patient, accomplished, and wise mentors myself, one of whom taught me to "lift as you climb," and being a mentor & coach is a privilege and a great joy in service of that mantra. I deeply enjoy the challenge, experience, and reward of helping someone rise to a challenge, unlock those "aha" moments, and ultimately fulfill their potential. In the realm of consulting interview prep, this means helping you grasp case-interview mechanics at a conceptual, first-principles level - in a way that resonates with your unique way of learning & absorbing information - and then translating that into successful problem-solving and case-cracking skills. I’ve successfully coached dozens of candidates into landing offers at MBB and other top firms, and I’m confident I can help you do the same. I'd be thrilled to help you unearth your own case-interview "aha" moments and play a part in your success story!
