About Dakarai

I didn’t come from a family full of execs or a school that hands you offers. I came from Ann Arbor with ambition, no connections, and a lot of Google searches. I knew I wanted a great career. I just didn’t know where to start. So I figured it out piece by piece. I won scholarships. Landed internships at Google, Dell, Microsoft, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Got accepted into Harvard Business School’s SVMP program. But the most meaningful part? Helping others do the same. I’ve coached hundreds of students and early-career professionals — not by giving them a script, but by helping them build a story they actually believe in. Whether it’s getting unstuck, leveling up a resume, or walking into an interview and owning the room, I focus on what makes people undeniable. Outside of coaching, I make content about careers, self-improvement, and what it means to chase big goals without losing your soul in the process. Why do I coach?

I used to be the kid who felt behind. The one who sat in class thinking everyone else just got it faster. The one who stayed quiet in meetings, afraid of sounding dumb. The one who kept asking, “Am I doing enough?” For a long time, I thought success was for other people. I thought I had to be louder, smarter, more polished. But everything changed when I stopped trying to be someone else and started believing that who I already was could be enough. I coach because I know how heavy it feels to doubt yourself. And I know what it means to finally see yourself differently to speak up, take the shot, hit submit on the thing you thought you weren’t ready for. Coaching is how I give that moment to others. Not just answers or edits, but clarity and belief. The kind that makes someone walk into an interview or opportunity and think, I belong here. That shift changes everything. And I never get tired of seeing it happen.
