Connor Crandall

Hi! I'm an experienced investing professional with a background in private equity and investment banking. I earned my MBA from The Wharton School, where I focused on finance and private equity. I currently serve as a Vice President at H.I.G. Capital in their flagship private equity fund, where I focus on identifying, executing, and managing investments across a variety of industries. Previously, I was a private equity associate at Warburg Pincus, where I worked on a range of investments spanning both leveraged buyouts and growth equity. Prior to Warburg Pincus, I began my career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and other strategic transactions. In addition to my professional experience, I am passionate about mentoring and helping others break into competitive fields like investment banking and private equity. Drawing on my firsthand experience navigating these industries and understanding how top firms approach recruiting, I have successfully coached many individuals through the process of landing roles at leading IB and PE firms. I’ve also helped students place at leading investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, and Lazard, as well as private equity firms such as Warburg Pincus, KKR, Apollo, TPG Growth, General Atlantic, Clayton Dubilier and Rice, and H.I.G.
