About Claudia
Claudia is passionate about corporate sustainability and social impact. She has worked at Bain & Company, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB). Claudia enjoys writing, traveling, and singing (even though she's not very good at the latter). Claudia is presently serving as Head of Programming at the United Nations Global Compact Network USA. Here, she leads the team responsible of developing and managing programs and initiatives that help over 1,000 American companies (including a majority of Fortune 500 companies) strengthen their sustainability strategies and embed the Sustainable Development Goals into their core operations Claudia was also the Founder & CEO of Wasi - an iOS app that helped users positively contribute to the world the comfort of their own homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a Founding Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Queens Hub. Claudia was recently selected to the Environment + Energy 100, the GreenBiz 30 Under 30, and the Forbes 30 Under 30 lists. She holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath, a MA in Global Governance and International Diplomacy from Columbia University, and a MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and Environment from the University of Oxford.
Why do I coach?
I've been in your shoes and know what it’s like to navigate challenges without a clear roadmap. I would have really benefitted from having a strong coach to guide me through it. Being able to offer that kind of support to someone else - helping them find clarity, build confidence, and move forward with purpose - is exactly why I do this work.

2020 - Present
The United Nations Global Compact is a special initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General and the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 25,000 corporate participants and other stakeholders in over 160 countries. In 2020, I became part of the founding team of the U.S. office of the UN Global Compact: • I developed the organization’s programmatic portfolio from the ground up, supporting over 1,000 American companies (including a majority of Fortune 500 firms) in strengthening their sustainability strategies and advancing the global sustainability agenda. Today, our offerings encompass accelerator programs, peer learning groups, thought leadership, webinars, and in-person events. • Built and hired the team responsible for executing the programmatic portfolio. I continue to lead this team (the largest in the organization), supporting both the execution of existing offerings and the development of new initiatives. • Spearhead the organization’s government relations strategy, engaging with U.S. public sector entities such as the U.S. Mission to the UN, the Department of State, and the Department of Labor. Since joining, I have led efforts to establish and strengthen public-private partnerships, significantly enhancing our government engagement.
