About Chris

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Berkeley, and I hold a Master of Theological Studies in Religion, Literature, and Culture from Harvard University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction Writing from New York University. I have a decade of experience teaching and coaching writing at the K-12, undergraduate, and graduate levels, and most recently served as a Writing Instructor at the Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA), hosted at Princeton and Yale Universities. In particular, I take pride in assisting students with writing college personal statements and supplemental essays.

Why do I coach?

I take the role of personalized mentorship in clients’ lives seriously, and I am committed to the transformative nature of coaching.
