As an accepted candidate to the University of Chicago's prestigious deferred MBA program, I bring firsthand experience and insights into the application and interview process. My journey involved extensive preparation and coaching, through which I gained a deep understanding of what the admissions committee values. I have had direct conversations with several members of the interview and admissions committee, including the director of admissions, providing me with unique perspectives on what makes a successful application. With this comprehensive background, I am well-equipped to guide and mentor others through the process, helping them to craft compelling applications, prepare for interviews, and ultimately achieve their goal of being admitted to this esteemed program.

About Bruce
Originally from Vancouver Washington, I am extremely grateful for the mentors and coaches I have had in my life and want to give back through contributing to others success here on Leland. Tech & Finance: My education and work experiences guided me to develop a keen interest in the tech industry. I was able to develop as a proactive team contributor through my internship with Microsoft, where I supported the Xbox finance team. I worked for nearly a year at Motivosity (tech start-up) as a senior finance analyst. I now work for Microsoft full-time on our Azure Cloud & AI finance team driving the future of AI at a leading firm. Deferred MBA: I will be attending the University of Chicago to get my MBA sometime in the next 2-5 years. I was admitted through the deferred MBA application process. After interviewing at Chicago, Stanford, and other schools I can say that I have gained a deep understanding of how to succeed in the world of deferred MBA's. Leadership: I studied Finance at Brigham Young University, where I had the privilege of serving as the President of the BYU Finance Society.
