I'm passionate about case coaching and helping people achieve their career goals. I got my start coaching for consulting over a decade ago, when I founded an organization called Texas MCA that is now the leading pipeline from the University of Texas at Austin into MBB consulting. I then went on to have a long career in consulting in which I learned a lot about business, myself, and recruiting. Over the years, I reviewed 2-3k resumes, interviewed 200-300 prospective Bain consultants, and hired 50-60 Bainies in total. Bain is a special place, but so is McKinsey where I interned before joining Bain. Happy to help with BCG as well.

About Bhargav
Bain is where I started my career, and it taught me a lot. I went from college recruit to Texas Head of Recruiting for Associate Consultants. In that role, I reviewed 2,000+ resumes, personally conducted 100+ final round interviews, and made 60+ offers to incoming Bain Associate Consultants and Consultants. I also personally made a case bank of 10 consulting cases that we would use in our interviews. Needless to say I know what it takes to break into consulting. Before Bain, I was at UT-Austin where I interned at McKinsey and founded Texas Management Consulting Association. Full career: Today, I run an independent consulting firm for growth equity, hedge funds. Before that I worked for 2 years at GREENOAKS CAPTIAL and a decade at BAIN & COMPANY, taking a leave of absence to earn my JD/MBA at HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL and HARVARD LAW SCHOOL. At HBS, I worked closely with the former head of admissions and the whole admissions team. Other stops along my career include Council on Foreign Relations Member, The White House, Harvard Program on Negotiation, Detroit Pistons. Happy to share stories or insights from any of these.
