Description
If your GPA and your LSAT don't tell the same story, most application advice stops being useful. It assumes your numbers sit near a school's medians and that the essays are the only variable. When one number lands well below the line, the rest of the application has to do different work, and almost nobody tells you what that work is. That gap is what this package exists to close. I applied to law school with a 3.4 GPA and a 150 LSAT and went to UVA Law. I practice now as a commercial litigator at a boutique trial firm, and I spent time as an admissions counselor reading files from the other side of the desk. I know what a low number looks like to a committee, and I know which parts of an application can actually move against it. How we work: First, an honest read of your file. Which number is the real problem, how far below the medians you actually sit at each school you are considering, and what leverage you have that is not a number. Second, we rebuild the school list around that answer. Reach, target and safety mean something different for a splitter than they do for a balanced applicant, and a list built on medians alone will cost you money and cycles. Third, the writing. Your personal statement stops apologizing for your numbers and starts doing its own job. Your addendum, if you need one, explains without excusing. That line is where most addenda fail. This is strategy work, not editing. I will tell you when a school is out of reach, and I will tell you when you are selling yourself short.
What you'll get from this package
A school list built for your real numbers, sorted into the schools worth your application fee and the ones that are not
A personal statement that carries its own weight instead of quietly defending your GPA or your LSAT
A GPA or LSAT addendum that explains without excusing, or a clear answer that you do not need one
A written plan for the rest of your cycle, so you know what to do after our last session ends
Additional details
Coaching delivered via live sessions.
Live sessions over video. I read and mark up your materials before we meet, so the call is spent on decisions instead of me reading in front of you. You get written notes after each session. Between sessions you can send me drafts and questions here, and I answer within a day or two. I am direct. If a school is not realistic, I will tell you. If your numbers are better than you think they are, I will tell you that too. You are paying for a real read, not encouragement.

3.4/150 → UVA Law. I get splitters in. Now a practicing litigator.
I got into UVA Law — a T14 — as a first-generation, low-income applicant with a 3.4 GPA and a 150 LSAT, both below their medians. I know what it takes to earn a "yes" when the stats say no, because those were my numbers. I've also worked the other side of the desk: as an admissions counselor at Empowerly and my law school's BLSA Membership Chair, working alongside UVA Law admissions on recruiting, where I saw how a top admissions office actually weighs a file. The applicants I've mentored have gone on to UVA Law, Duke, and Stanford. And as a practicing commercial litigator at a boutique trial firm, I can tell you what the legal career on the other side of this application really looks like — not the BigLaw-desk version. My focus is splitters and underdog applicants: first-generation, low-income, and non-traditional students who keep being told their numbers aren't good enough. Your LSAT is not your ceiling.
