About Austin

I’m a first-generation college graduate who grew up in a low-income, underrepresented community in Fontana, California. A place where only 16% of residents hold a degree. My journey has been anything but linear. I was rejected from both EY and PwC as an undergrad, before turning around and receiving full-time offers from all four Big 4 firms my senior year. I worked through college to support myself, entered with test scores in the 20th percentile, and came from a family with income so low that my education was essentially free. I was raised by my Spanish-speaking grandparents and a single mother. Every setback became a setup for resilience. I began my career at EY, where just seven months in, I pioneered my way onto a global assignment in Norway - one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I later joined PwC, rising to Manager, where I led cross-functional global teams helping Fortune 1000 clients strengthen their security and resilience. Through it all, I’ve remained grounded by one truth: your circumstances don’t define you. Your persistence does. It's not where you start. It's how far you've come. With a 299 GRE, I was told top MBA programs were out of reach. I proved otherwise, earning over $500K in scholarships, including multiple full rides to Top 10 programs like Dartmouth Tuck, Cornell Johnson, UVA Darden, and Duke Fuqua, where I’m now pursuing my MBA. Today, I’m passionate about helping others do the same: crafting authentic, purpose-driven stories that inspire belief. My approach to coaching is simple: your story is enough. YOU are enough. My role is to help you see it, own it, and tell it with confidence - the story that makes you, you.

Why do I coach?

Coaching matters to me because I know what it feels like to have a number define your worth. In a world where test scores and GPAs sit high on every applicant’s anxiety list, I was told that my 299 GRE would close doors. Instead, it opened purpose - pushing me to prove that no number or statistic will ever define you. That experience changed everything about how I view the MBA journey. It’s not about chasing perfection: it’s about crafting an authentic story that connects who you are with where you’re going. That’s what led mbaMission, the world’s top MBA admissions firms, to invite me to share my story on their podcast. Not because I had the highest score, but because I turned self-doubt into self-belief. I coach because I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone starts believing in their own story. My goal is to help others do the same: to turn fear into fuel, imposter syndrome into confidence, and statistics into stories that move people. At the end of the day, your worth isn’t a number, it’s your narrative. It’s your story. The one that’s already enough.
