About Arlen

I'm Arlen, a finance professional from the United States with extensive professional and academic experiences abroad. My long-term career goal is to be an executive at an international financial services company, or to start my own investment firm that specializes in investing in and operating companies doing business in frontier and emerging markets. Since graduating from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in finance, I have completed a master's degree in global affairs at Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar, and I have worked as an investment banker at an American bulge bracket firm in New York City and an international boutique in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as part of the Princeton in Asia Fellowship program. I was also a frontier and emerging markets private equity associate for an American alternative assets manager. I'm originally from Maryland, near Washington, D.C., and I have also lived in Boston, Beijing, New York City, and Ulaanbaatar.
