About Ankur

Welcome! I'm an incoming MIT Sloan MBA student and strategy consultant at Accenture who just finished one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, the MBA application process. I earned admission to 5 top MBA programs, including MIT, Columbia Business School, Kellogg, Booth, and Stern, with interviews at 6 of the M7s. I graduated with a 3.97 GPA from UC Berkeley Haas as part of the inaugural class of the Global Management Program, earning the Cal Alumni Association Leadership Award given to the top 2.5% of students. I’ve spent the last 4 years honing my storytelling and analytical skills as a strategy consultant, both of which are at the heart of a great MBA application. Beyond my own journey, I've successfully mentored candidates into acceptances at top graduate and undergraduate programs, and I currently guest lecture at Haas on strategy consulting and career development. Helping people craft their story and reach their goals is something I'm truly passionate about. Whether you're figuring out your school list, working through your essays, or preparing for interviews, I'm here to help. If you're looking to break into the top MBA programs in the world, I'm the coach for you. Let's connect!

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know firsthand how transformative the right guidance can be. Growing up in an immigrant family with a deep appreciation for education, I was fortunate to have mentors who helped me navigate unfamiliar systems and unlock opportunities I didn't know were available to me. I want to be that person for someone else. Education and mentorship run deep in my family. My grandmother taught in rural India, and my aunt went on to found her own school. That legacy of investing in others has shaped how I think about what it means to truly help someone grow. As a guest lecturer at UC Berkeley Haas and a mentor to analysts and interns throughout my consulting career, I've seen what happens when someone finally finds clarity in their story. It's one of the most rewarding things I've experienced professionally. The MBA application process forces you to reflect deeply on who you are, where you've been, and where you want to go, and I find it genuinely fulfilling to help people work through that journey.
