About Andre
I'm originally from just outside São Paulo, Brazil. I came to the US in 2010 on a soccer scholarship, played four years of college soccer, graduated in East Tennessee, and haven't really stopped moving since — Austin, Dublin, São Paulo, Seattle, and now Central Florida where I live with my wife Julia and our three boys. Outside of work I'm in the garage gym most days, playing soccer at least a couple times a week, and traveling whenever possible. I go for the food and the local scene — one photo at the famous thing and then I'm off looking for where the locals actually eat. I'm obsessed with being a present dad, teaching my kids how money works early, and building things that matter.

- Developer Portal: My most recent product was a platform product for partner teams’ developers, with features such as developer docs, API reference, tutorials, integration frameworks, shared UI library, business and system monitoring and more. - Internal tool for non-tech users: I led an internal platform to enable non-technical business users to optimize Indeed's sites across all markets with no-code configurations on Indeed's products, per market/segment monitoring, providing key insights, automated A/B testing steps and more. - Metadata: Responsible for supporting and scaling the non-US efforts around metadata used for matching job seekers and jobs (ie. salary, location, taxonomy & ontology, company/industry and more). Directed managed 2 PMs (and dotted line led another 4 product managers or Sr Analysts).

As a Product Manager, International Platforms; I led a few different areas within Indeed's International product org. - Indeed Screening: Pitched, secured funding, and led a project run in our Sao Paulo office. The product's goal was to validate if employers in Brazil were willing to pay for resume screening services, how much they were willing to pay, what were the types of businesses we could serve, and understand scalability. I went to Brazil, hired a team of 5 HR analysts and managed them, worked cross functionally with in-office CS and Sales teams to pitch to clients (beta and beyond), and worked with our tech pod to develop the product (MVP, v1, v2 etc). - Indeed University: During the Summer of 2018, I was selected to be a Product Lead at Indeed University program. More information in the section above. - Segmentation: Expansion of Indeed's segmentation efforts across International markets by developing a relationship with the Segmentation product and ops teams, understanding global segmented needs, creating a backlog of needed features to allow International Segmented experimentation, supported analysts in running 50+ tests across several markets through 2 quarters. - Metadata: Identified Structured Data coverage gaps on International markets and developed a strategy to improve the area.
