About Amit
I bring a diverse professional background spanning engineering, operations, and strategy. Before business school, I worked as a Project Engineer and later served as Chief of Staff at a real estate company. During the MBA, I also worked on a go-to-market strategy consulting project and gained exposure to investments and venture capital during my summer internship. At Fuqua, I was also an Admissions Ambassador and previously helped several applicants with their graduate school admissions - I'm happy to connect and understand how I can help with yours.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know firsthand how transformative the right guidance can be during the admissions process. As an admissions ambassador and coach, I have seen how much applicants benefited from honest, insider perspective, and I wanted to keep giving that. My own path wasn't linear. Coming from engineering and real estate operations, I had to craft a narrative that connected my diverse experiences into a compelling story. That process taught me how to find the thread in a non-traditional background, and now I help others do the same. Whether you're pivoting industries, returning after a gap, or just unsure how to position yourself, I understand the uncertainty and the stakes. I believe in being a thought partner who's been through it and can help you present your best self with clarity and confidence
