Why do I coach?

Breaking into big tech finance can take years of attempts. My clients do it once, the right way. That confidence comes from experience, but it also comes from something more personal. I have been where you are. My path into big tech was not handed to me. I came up through the Air Force, where a commanding officer kept pushing me into roles I did not feel ready for. What felt uncomfortable at the time turned out to be the greatest gift of my career. He showed me that real growth happens exactly at the edge of what you think you are capable of. That belief carried me through deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and through two decades of building world class finance teams long before I ever set foot inside a big tech company. The road had setbacks. Roles that did not work out. Doors that took far longer to open than I expected. But at every critical moment, a mentor appeared who helped me see my path more clearly and gave me the confidence to keep going. That is exactly what I want to give you. Not generic advice, but a real map built from real experience, and someone genuinely in your corner who believes in where you are going before you fully believe it yourself. I coach because every mentor who invested in me made me better. Paying that forward is not just something I do. It is something I feel compelled to do.
