I broke into investment banking the hard way — from a non-traditional background (clinical medicine) — so I know exactly what it takes to get in from the outside, and how to teach it. But I didn't just break in: I started as an M&A banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, then moved to Goldman Sachs and earned the promotion to Vice President in its Healthcare Investment Banking group. That path matters for you in two ways: I can coach you not only on how to land your first offer, but also on how to position yourself for the top of the Street and how to actually excel once you're inside the walls of an elite bank, which is what earns the promotions. I've also sat on the other side of the table: I served on recruiting teams at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, so I've personally screened, interviewed, and selected candidates; I know precisely what gets someone pulled from the pile and what gets them cut. My background also includes an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where I supported the admissions committee, further honing my ability to evaluate and guide applicants. Over the years I've coached 60+ candidates through this process. I currently work in lower-middle-market private equity after spending ~3.5 years in J.P. Morgan's M&A group in New York and beginning my career at Citi. My path into finance was far from traditional. I attended Baruch College / CUNY, was the first person in my family to break into high finance, and did not have the traditional Wall Street recruiting pipeline. I worked throughout college, stacked classes so I could intern during the school year, and gradually built experience across several finance roles before ultimately making the jump from Citi to J.P. Morgan M&A and then into private equity. I've had interviews go well. I've had processes go nowhere. I've sent plenty of networking emails. I've made mistakes. And I eventually made it into roles that honestly felt pretty far away when I was first starting at Baruch. That's the perspective I bring to coaching. I'm particularly interested in working with students from non-target schools and people who feel like they're trying to figure this out without the same network or resources as everyone else. I know how frustrating that can be. I'm not here to sell shortcuts or guarantee interviews. What I can do is be an open book about my own experience, tell you candidly where I think you're spending your time well or poorly, help you sharpen your story and resume, and give you practical feedback on how I would approach the process if I were in your shoes. I’m a senior at NYU Stern studying Finance and Statistics. I recently completed a summer analyst internship in Wells Fargo’s Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York and received a full-time return offer. My background also includes private equity at Harbor Street Capital and investment management at a single–family office, giving me experience across both banking and investing. I am a current Harvard Business School student with experience in large-cap private equity investing, middle-market private equity investing, and sell-side M&A investment banking. I received multiple investment banking jobs offers coming from a non-target school, received an accelerated promotion offer, and was a top-reviewed analyst in my banking program. I bring experience from both sides of the finance recruiting process: as a candidate who successfully navigated competitive investment banking recruiting and as a professional coach who has helped students do the same. I graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in Finance and gained investment banking experience at Houlihan Lokey and Taylor Advisory. After graduating, I joined Scholars of Finance, a national nonprofit serving students across 68 university chapters, where I work as a Leadership Coach. I have directly coached dozens of students one-on-one and led workshops and sessions for hundreds more. That combination shapes how I coach. I can help with the tactical side of recruiting—career strategy, networking, resumes, behavioral interviews, technical preparation, and navigating the recruiting process—but I also help students think carefully about what they actually want from their careers. My goal is not simply to help someone land an offer. It is to help them identify the right path, understand what it takes to succeed on that path, and execute a disciplined strategy to get there.

Successfully landed summer analyst position with Jefferies in the TMT (Technology) Investment Banking Group based out of San Francisco, returned the next year full-time, and led the summer analyst recruiting process for our entire office.
