After graduating from Hamilton College, I worked in investment banking for 6 years, with experience across Goldman Sachs' TMT group in San Francisco and Bank of America's Healthcare group in New York. Today, I am a Private Equity Associate at ZMC, a middle-market private equity firm focused on technology, media, and entertainment. I have firsthand experience recruiting for investment banking internships, lateral positions, and private equity. At each firm that I've worked at throughout my career, I have made it a point to be heavily involved in the recruiting process and have conducted numerous interviews for a variety of roles. I have navigated the competitive landscape of investment banking & private equity and have successfully mentored numerous clients to secure positions at top firms. Given how expedited the recruiting process has become for college sophomores, a coach who recruited recently and understands the rapidly evolving process is a necessity. My preparation to land an investment banking seat started in high school, and I didn’t lose steam until I signed my offer in February, 2025. In addition to signing for Houlihan Lokey’s Restructuring Group, I received multiple offers from elite boutique, bulge bracket, and middle market firms.

I started recruiting from a school where no sophomore had ever received an Investment Banking summer analyst offer before. When I began recruiting, I was completely in the dark about where I should go and what I should do. Through thousands of hours of thoughtful preparation and work, I was able to gain interviews from over 10 Bulge Bracket & Elite Boutique firms and go on to be the first person in my school's history to place. I want to be able to share with students who are going through the exact same struggles the things they need to know in order to succeed in recruiting. Throughout my recruitment, I created detailed processes for networking which allowed me access to senior bankers which converted to interviews. I also learned technicals in unique ways by myself which never let me down in any interview. I am extremely passionate about sharing these processes and helping the next generation of deserving students reach their goals of working in investment banking.

Having started out my post-MBA career in investment banking and then transitioning to private equity, I bring a wealth of experience in entering and advancing careers in investment banking and private equity. I began my career in the Financial Management Program at GE and then, after receiving my MBA from HBS, made the leap to Investment Banking as an Associate at Wells Fargo Securities. Following my time in IB, I spent 20 years in private equity at middle-market investment firm, Reynolda Equity Partners, ultimately becoming a Managing Partner, before leaving to invest independently under my 1780 Capital banner. I have a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed at all levels in the competitive world of finance and M&A. I am passionate about helping aspiring investment bankers and finance professionals enter the industry and navigate their career paths.
