Going into the MBA application process, I was struggling to synthesize the different experiences of my professional and personal life into a cohesive and natural story. Alex stepped in and was extremely helpful in helping me build my story. We went through an exhaustive list of experiences and brainstormed on whether each experience deserved some essay “real estate”. More importantly, Alex helped me uncover some experiences that I originally thought were unimportant, that turned out to be a powerful, core element of my essay story. Alex also helped me understand how admission officers think, which in turn helped me tailor the language of my essays and application for an admission officer reader, and ensure that I didn’t go on irrelevant tangents. Polished essays – She makes sure that the essays are nothing short from great. The essays went back and forth so many times that sometimes the final essays are completely different from the original essay. It took a lot of time and effort but that’s what it takes to get in to your reach schools. 2. Quick response - I sent her last-minute scholarship essays and she was able to review them in time.
