Josh was an amazing tutor. I approached him with a very tight timeline of 3 weeks and he quickly mobilized and created a plan to get me to my target score. He first identified my weaknesses then created a calendar with detailed homework assignments for each week, completely removing the burden of planning off my shoulders. He was also very knowledgeable on the test and helped me see the problems through a lens I hadn’t before. These weren’t "quick tips" but rather ways of thinking that he taught me to adopt. GMAT questions can be rather deceitful, but he breaks each question type down to understandable parts that allow you to see through the tricks of the test writers. In only 20 days, he took me from a Q 38 to a 46, a feat I couldn't have accomplished by simply reviewing math on my own. Aside from that, he was also very supportive and easy to work with, which definitely helped keep up the morale!

Marie is a fantastic tutor and helped me a lot in my GMAT preparation. With her I primarily focused on the quantitative section and my scores drastically improved. I really enjoyed working with Erfun. He has access to some of the best GRE prep material out there, and his meticulous approach to tackling questions was invaluable for my success on the GRE. I went from scoring in the 310s to scoring 330-338 on practice tests before my exam. I ended up achieving my goal score on the real test and I only had 3 classes with Erfun. In addition, his online teaching format allows you to record lessons and review them while studying -- I found this particularly useful for reviewing concepts and his methodology for different types of questions. His experience, combined with his natural teaching ability, will help you efficiently reach your goal score in the shortest time possible. I worked with Erfun the past few months on the GMAT and would emphatically recommend him! After studying on my own through Veritas, I was not satisfied with my performance and knew I needed a tutor to take me to the next level. I was initially hesitant to meet over Skype, but it was seamless and made no difference whatsoever. With his help, I went from a baseline 560 to a 740! Erfun is incredibly thorough and detail-oriented, and creates a study plan specifically to target where you need it most. Other tutors I spoke to were only going to help with quant, and as a native English speaker (and strong writer) I thought I didn't need as much work on that side. However, we worked on both together and the verbal made just as much of a difference! He will find the places you need work and help you hone your skills where you need it most to get the best score possible. During our first session, we set realistic, achievable goals together and created a plan on how to get there. If you put in the work, he will help you get to where you want to go. You get what you pay for with this stuff, and while his rate is not the cheapest you'll find, invest in YOURSELF and work with him. It'll be worth it. Erfun is an incredible GMAT tutor. He helped me raise my score from a 710 to a 770 in just a few months. He quickly identified my problem areas and was over-prepared with practice questions, exercises, and trainings to address those shortcomings. I originally approached the GMAT thinking I needed to learn more quant formulas and grammar rules. In fact, Erfun helped me develop an entirely new approach to the GMAT, understanding when I should guess, how to reduce my time on easier questions, and how I can quickly eliminate answers. His feedback was always direct, and I needed that kind of coaching to push myself and earn a 99th percentile score. I don't know where I'd be without him!

I can genuinely say Josh is the best tutor I’ve ever worked with. He helped me “see” the test as I never had before. BUT luckily I also did well on the test, with Josh’s help. He provided genuine, humane support and perspective in an incredibly stressful time. He sent me thoughtful messages before and after my exam days. I very much felt like I had an advocate on my side, rooting for me. In the end, I scored 730 on the GMAT, raising my Quant subscore from a 38 to a 48. I am beyond grateful for my time working with Josh!

Marie was both professional and demanding. Everything was explained clearly and she provided my son with several successful strategies. His score improved from a 1450 to a 1500. Marie gave my son several practice tests; it was a lot of work but it paid off.
