Elizabeth was a huge help when I was applying to scholarships for business school. I think what I loved the most about working with her is how she was compassionate and honest, and that ultimately was the most valuable thing that helped me prepare a strong application. Her writing/editing skills are also really good and she is awesome because she took care to make sure that my voice was still there and she helped me learn how to tie everything together in my personal statement. Éli is awesome!!!

I had a wonderful experience working with Telli at Boston University. I was an undergraduate student then, and she was one of the best mentors I could imagine. She was a great researcher and compassionate mentor. I collected data, worked on literature reviews, and developed research projects with her. She was very organized, consistent, focused, and passionate about her work. More importantly, she was approachable, supportive, responsive, warm, kind, culturally sensitive, caring, and listening. Although my research internship was for one summer, she continued supporting me with any questions I had and my graduate student applications. As her research assistant, I genuinely learned a lot, and my time working with Telli motivated me to apply to graduate school in child study and human development. As a doctoral student, I still appreciate her influence on my scholarship. She is a great mentor and an excellent resource for students. I am glad she will continue sharing her mentoring gift with other students on this platform.
