Top 10 Global | 1,000 candidates | 95% Success Rate | $2,556 FREE Materials
I passed all 8 consulting and tech interviews I sat during my MBA at NYU Stern, including BCG, where I went on to work as a consultant. I didn't stumble into that outcome. I prepared obsessively, analyzed what worked and what didn't, and built a system from the ground up. That system became Custom Case Coach. Since leaving BCG I've coached 1,000+ consulting candidates across every background, firm, and geography imaginable. I've trained consultants at Big 4 firms, run workshops at universities such as NYU Stern, Michigan Ross, Princeton, and Imperial College, and built a preparation program that has helped candidates land offers at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, and every major firm globally. My candidates achieve a 95% offer rate overall and a 67% MBB offer rate among those who reach MBB interviews - numbers that reflect one thing: I don't teach candidates to pass an interview, I teach them to think like a consultant.$399/hr

Ex-BCG Project Leader & Interviewer (US + LatAm) - Break into Consulting!
I’ve spent 7 years at BCG, with 4 years in the U.S. and 3 years in Latin America (Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina)—not only leading high-impact projects as a Project Leader, but also serving as an interviewer across both regions. I know exactly what BCG looks for in candidates because I’ve evaluated them myself. Beyond my professional experience, I hold an MBA from Kellogg, where I was part of BCG’s on-campus recruiting team. During that time, I coached 30+ classmates throughout their consulting recruiting journeys, helping them craft their stories, master case interviews, and succeed in behavioral rounds. The vast majority secured offers at top firms including McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte, and Accenture, both in the U.S. and Latin America. What Sets My Coaching Apart: 📌 End-to-End Support: I coach on case and behavioral interviews, but also help with storytelling, resumes, and overall prep strategy. 📌 Interviewer’s Perspective: I’ve sat on the other side of the table—many times. I help you think like an evaluator and tailor your performance accordingly. 📌 Cross-Regional Insight: Whether you're applying in Boston or Bogotá, I understand the regional differences in evaluation, style, and cultural fit. If you're aiming for top-tier consulting offers and want coaching that's grounded in real evaluation experience, regional knowledge, and a track record of results, I’d love to support your journey. Let's get you that offer!$200/hr

Break Into Consulting |ex-Bain Partner/Recruiting Head, 2nd Rnd Interviewer
I'm a former Senior Partner and Head of Recruiting at Bain & Company. I was a second round interviewer across all core schools for years. And I was the Partner who led decisions on all candidate offers for new consultants and ACs. I've interviewed and made offers for hundreds of MBAs and undergrads for full time and summer positions. I also taught an "Introduction to Management Consulting" class at UC Irvine, a "non-core" school before that class, and a "core" school afterwards for the Los Angeles office. The class was basically my custom-made new consultant training - a hand-on, practical introduction to the job, structured to provide as close to a real "first case on the job" applied experience. I led students step-by-step through the process of conducting a strategic full potential diagnostic first-hand, researching companies of their choice and building out a future vision, recommended strategy, set of priority initiatives, change management roadmap. They created Board-ready presentations and delivered them in class, again receiving coaching for consultant-level communication effectiveness. In addition to teaching and immersing them in the new consultant tool-kit, I introduced them to the recruiting process and coached them on proactive, creative ways to get into the interviewing cycle. We practiced mock cases and many students successfully landed jobs at Bain and other top consultancies and strategy depts. Depending on where you are in your pursuit, I'm happy to provide support. If you've got final rounds this coming Monday, I'm happy to run a mock case with you and provide feedback. If you're a non-traditional candidate, or coming from a non-core school, and you're looking forward to submitting applications with the hope of an interview, I'm happy to work with you on a fuller break-in strategy. Some examples of things I can help with - as discrete individual sessions or as part of an ongoing coaching - guidance and feedback to best position resumes and cover letters to secure interviews, networking strategies, overview the core consulting toolkit (frameworks, analytical tools, etc) and communication skills, mock interviews and feedback, of course... And more broadly, and all along the way, I'm happy to experience share and/or provide insight into a "day in the life" and career trajectories. I'm passionate about this because I think it's really valuable for folks to understand the profession they're joining! I invite you to reach out in whatever way would be most helpful. If you're looking for a mock interview, it's very easy to set that up. You can block the time and forward your resume, and we'll treat that hour as a real deal Partner interviewing experience with feedback. Alternatively, if you're looking for a broader game plan, or if you have no idea where to start, I've discounted a session that let's us build a strategy that gets you from where you are into the interviewing process and hopefully sailing to an offer. And I can coach you at every step of the way. Sign up for which feels right to you. And message if you'd like to chat or if you don't see availability on my calendar. I want to be as accessible as possible. Most importantly, I want to work with people who I can truly help succeed. I look forward to hearing from and working with you!$350/hr

Ex-BCG PL; Top 10 Leland Consulting Coach with 200+ mentees at MBB and more
As an ex-BCG Project Leader and Interviewer, I'm intimately familiar with the consulting interview process, spanning from case to behavioral interviews. I was President of Consulting Prep for both Wharton's Consulting Club (MBA) and UT Austin's Consulting club (Undergrad), through which I've developed a "ground up" approach to building specific core consulting interview skills, then integrating them into a strong overall case interviewing muscle. My approach has garnered significant positive feedback and recognition, resulting in helping over 200 mentees achieve offers at top firms. For my efforts, I was awarded the Career Mentorship award at Wharton. I am fortunate to still have strong contact with many of my mentees, nearly all of whom have gone on great careers at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte, and Accenture (as well as other firms). Several of these mentees have gone on to achieve great post-consulting careers as well, ranging from Private Equity, to Tech Product Management, to Corporate Strategy I break down my feedback on each case interview into 5 areas, and give detailed, actionable feedback on each: Clarification, Frameworking, Quantitative Analysis, Qualitative Analysis, and Synthesis. This approach has been strongly validated by mentees and resulted in offers across all top firms. My foundations-first approach has led to being named a Leland Top 10 Management Consulting Coach in 2025, as well as a Top 50 coach across all disciplines in 2024.$299/hr

Former BCG Partner | Recruiting & Interview Expert (100+) | Wharton MBA
I'm Julie, a former Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where I spent more than a decade advising senior executives and leading teams across a broad range of strategic and operational challenges. During my tenure, I progressed from Associate to Partner, giving me firsthand insight into every stage of the consulting career path—from securing an offer to succeeding and advancing within the firm. In addition to my client work, I was deeply involved in BCG's recruiting and talent development efforts. For six years, I served as an interviewer and member of the recruiting committee, evaluating hundreds of candidates across undergraduate, MBA, and experienced-hire recruiting. I was directly involved in assessing candidates and making hiring decisions, giving me a clear perspective on what distinguishes those who receive offers from those who do not. I hold an MBA from The Wharton School, where I was recognized as a Palmer Scholar (top 5% of the graduating class), and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University. Since leaving BCG, I have continued to mentor and coach candidates pursuing careers in consulting. I help candidates strengthen their resumes and applications, develop compelling personal narratives, refine their networking approach, and excel in both fit and case interviews. My coaching combines practical recruiting insights with candid, actionable feedback tailored to each individual's goals and experience level. I work with undergraduate students, MBA candidates, experienced professionals, and career switchers pursuing opportunities at MBB firms, Tier 2 consultancies, boutique firms, and internal strategy teams. Whether you are preparing for your first consulting interview or targeting a senior experienced-hire role, I can help you navigate the process with the same rigor and perspective used by the world's leading consulting firms. I look forward to working with you.$198/hr

McKinsey Interviewer, Recruiting Lead | Insider to MBB hiring | 200+ cases
As a McKinsey interviewer for 2 years, I possess a deep understanding of what consulting firms look for in candidates, how the recruitment process works, and the common pitfalls that applicants often encounter. Throughout my career, I have primarily focused on working with banks and consumer-facing products, engaging in projects that encompass traditional consulting strategy as well as new product launches. This diverse exposure has allowed me to develop a comprehensive perspective on the industry, enabling me to guide aspiring consultants effectively. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have taken on the role of a mentor and coach for over 30 individuals navigating the management consulting interview process and beyond. I provide guidance not only on how to succeed in interviews but also on determining whether management consulting is the right fit for each individual. My coaching style is characterized by candor and directness, as I believe in providing honest feedback to foster growth and improvement. However, I also bring a human lens to my approach, valuing the importance of personal well-being and mental health alongside professional success. What sets me apart as a coach is my non-traditional background in visual arts, which initially made me believe that breaking into the consulting industry was an impossible feat. Despite initial setbacks, including interview mishaps and limited networking opportunities, I persevered and found success. As a strong introvert myself, I understand the challenges and doubts that aspiring consultants may face. My aim is to provide a relatable perspective and guidance, empowering individuals with strategies to thrive in the field while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. My recent experience in consulting ensures that I am up-to-date with the latest trends, particularly in the ever-evolving post-pandemic economic landscape.$140/hr

Break Into MBB With Confidence | Ex-McKinsey (6 yrs) & CEO
Former McKinsey & Company consultant with 6 years experience across the San Francisco, New York offices and Johannesburg offices, advising leading financial institutions and sovereign wealth funds on strategy, M&A, AI integration, and organizational restructuring — including one of Wall Street's largest banks, a major US startup bank, and a Gulf sovereign wealth fund where I assessed the feasibility of a greenfield gold mining investment. I went through the McKinsey case interview process twice (pre-MBA at McKinsey Johannesburg, post-MBA at McKinsey US) and know exactly what separates a strong candidate from a passable one. Most recently, I served as CEO of a last-mile logistics company with 35+ employees, giving me an operator's perspective most case coaches don't have — we'll work through real client problems, not textbook ones. Harvard MBA. Originally from South Africa, so I'm particularly equipped to coach international and non-traditional applicants on positioning their story for MBB.$120/hr
