Planning to apply to business school as a deferred applicant or a Round 3 applicant? While many wait until a few months before admission deadlines to seriously prepare their MBA applications, for those that start earlier, there are several steps you can take to make yourself a better applicant, and thereby strengthen your application. Having helped to launch the MBA core leadership curriculum at Stanford, and having worked in admissions for more than a decade, I will offer tips to help you begin your business school learning journey now, well before you apply. These steps can be good for your career, will increase your chances of being admitted to top schools, and will improve the experience you'll have once you get to school.
