We're getting into crunch time with the Common App essay. What if you're still thinking about what to write? Or, how do you know your existing essay draft is as strong as it can be? Drawing on 6 years of college coaching experience, I will share with you the most common pieces of feedback I give on my students' drafts, and I'll walk you through some exercises to get you unstuck if you need help thinking of essay topics. This is not a "Common App essay for beginners" event -- I assume you already know the most common topics to avoid (sports victory, mission trips), but just want a bit of help brainstorming or knowing where to polish your essay draft.
