Package Description:
This package is designed for high school students wanting extra guidance and support for Common App AND BYU application essays. If you are comfortable drafting your application essays on your own but looking for an admissions application expert to review your essays--this is the package for you! Your essays will be reviewed for effectiveness in answering prompts, making sure your essays contain content unique to you that will convey meaning to admissions readers, and editing suggestions to give you the best shot at admissions. With this package, you'll receive a detailed review of one Common App essay of your choice (note: two of the Common App prompts are also included in the BYU application). You’re welcome to use this essay for other schools and adapt it as needed for BYU. You'll also get one full review of all of your BYU essays—completely free. Please note that this package is in compliance with BYU's application guidelines. BYU's application includes the following language: - "You may not use generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) as you compose your responses" - "You may not pay anyone to help you with your application." — Coaches have agreed to provide all BYU support 100% for FREE for students who work with them through this package. - "You may ask others to read and review your essays to ensure that you are answering the prompt clearly and effectively." — Your coach will provide free essay revisions in line with this guidance - "Although it is acceptable to have others review your essays prior to submission, the words and ideas must be your own." — Your coach will never write essays for you, but they will support you as you craft a winning essay that resonates with the admissions team. In summary, this package is in compliance with BYU's application guidance. We've helped thousands of students with their BYU and other college applications and are excited to support you as you pursue this important goal. Expert STEM College Admissions Counseling from a Caltech PhD Engineer
I became an Independent Educational Counselor when I noticed a dearth of college admissions counselors with their own STEM backgrounds and experience. I believe aspiring STEM majors deserve not just a counselor, but a mentor who’s been there and really understands them. I’ve combined my STEM education and career experience with deep knowledge of how to gain admission and succeed in today’s STEM higher education system to provide tailored services that meet the specific needs of STEM students. My Admissions Counseling services help families through the stressful process of applying to STEM college programs. I understand your aspiring STEM major far better than an ordinary counselor could. I serve as a role model and mentor for my students through this formative period, all for the same or less than generic counselors. I also leverage my massive network of STEM professionals, including college professors and industrial scientists and engineers, to make introductions for my students and obtain important perspectives and info about STEM majors, college programs, and careers.
