During that time, I managed complex team redesigns, navigated major corporate re-orgs, led through leadership changes, and earned high-stakes promotions. As an official Amazon Bar Raiser and hiring manager, I evaluated hundreds of candidates, giving me an insider's view of how executive talent is assessed, calibrated, and promoted behind closed doors. I've worked at 10 person start-ups to 100,000 person companies like Google. I've been an individual contributor and also managed teams of 20+; throughout these experiences, I've learned some of the best questions to ask myself (and others) that can help identify and then successfully get into roles with the best fit.
