I highly recommend Bruce…I am very happy that I connected him with my son. Bruce provided direct guidance to my son that my son himself described in most favorable terms, which is an exception from the rule (according to the rule, anything emanating from the parent is not good). Given that connection to Bruce emanated from me (the parent), it must mean that my son found Bruce REALLY helpful and enjoyed working with him. Thank you, Bruce!

I met with Jack numerous times to prepare for the 2022-2023 admissions cycle. Not only did he provide a complete overhaul of my personal statement, but he gave a multitude of tips for secondaries and interviews. Xuan is a competent mentor who has a thorough understanding of the university admissions process. I come from a less privileged background, but Xuan was able to intelligently frame a “hook“ for my application so that I could better tell my story. His feedbacks on my essays also elevated my writing a great deal. I felt more confident about my application after being mentored by Xuan. Now, I have offers from Cornell, University of Michigan, and Tsinghua! I am often touched by his sincerity in guiding me with the application process. He has given up a lot of his time in the past 9 months to tackle the process with me. We communicated via WhatsApp almost every day and he gave long, detailed replies to every question I had without being frustrated. He always has me in mind - he checks in with me and sends me useful study resources whenever I don't start the conversation (I do that sometimes because I feel bad for taking up so much of his time!). He is also very willing to share his knowledge on Psychology, Data Science, Web Design, and Excel. I have learnt so much from him. Finally, when we are hanging out and not talking about the application process, Xuan is a warm-hearted friend. I feel at ease and happy around him. I am so lucky to have met him!
