As a third-year medical student preparing to apply into orthopedic surgery, working with Forrest has given me a huge edge. He helped me get started in research and guided me through the process of building projects that will strengthen my application. Beyond research, his advising has been incredibly practical and strategic. One of the most valuable areas has been his guidance on the VSLO away rotation process: how to approach applications, where to apply, and how to position myself effectively. What I appreciate most is how clear and actionable his advice is. Instead of vague guidance, he provides a concrete plan that makes the process feel much more tangible. I feel far more prepared heading into this cycle because of his mentorship and would highly recommend him to anyone pursuing a competitive surgical specialty. I count myself as very lucky to have had his guidance throughout medical school.

Asha has played a critical role in every aspect of my recruitment process. Coming in with little exposure, she has broken all of the components into easily digestible concepts and to-dos. She absolutely meets me where I am and supplements with a tailored plan that helps me emphasize my strengths and build on my weaknesses. Regarding her personally, she is incredibly organized, responsive, and engaged. She values every single minute of our session and always comes in with an itinerary for the hour. For me, breaking into finance was/is an incredibly intimidating process; however, with Asha’s help, I have overcome barrier after barrier and grown exponentially as a young professional.

What sets Bryce apart as a coach is his deep understanding that, in the earliest stages, a startup is inseparable from the founder’s personal identity. And if you’re a scientist-turned-founder stepping out of academia, I especially recommend working with him. Bryce will help you see where rigid, black-and-white academic thinking no longer serves you, and how to develop the mindset needed to build something in the face of ambiguity, where there is often no "right answer". He helped me uncover the roots of my mental discomfort with uncertainty and how that was distorting my decision-making for my company. Early on, I had severe tunnel vision; I believed there were only a handful of ideal customers out there, and that one misstep in communication would cause the whole company to fail. Bryce helped me break out of that scarcity mindset and reframe the way I approached growth. While working with Bryce, we landed our first customer. I had zero background in sales. Bryce guided me through the uncertainty and back-and-forth that comes with working with large industrial partners. He reminded me to be patient, push for a fair price, and, most of all, be incredibly easy to work with. More than anything, he emphasized the critical importance of securing that first partner. Without his steady reinforcement and ability to help me stay mentally open and persistent, I would have assumed that I wasn’t cut out for business. I now know that I am, and just like any skill, it takes time and practice.

As a Canadian pre-med student, I wasn’t sure how to get involved in research or build a strong academic profile. Working with Forrest completely changed that. He helped me develop a project from the ground up and guided me through the entire process of turning it into a publication. What stood out most was how approachable and clear he made everything. He broke down each step, provided practical feedback, and made what initially felt overwhelming much more manageable. Thanks to his mentorship, I now have research experience and a publication that has significantly strengthened my application for Canadian medical schools. I’m very grateful for his guidance and would highly recommend him to any student looking to get started in research.

I worked with Belén extensively at McKinsey and she has a great understanding of how consulting works and what is needed to do well in the interviews and be successful once you get in. Would definitely coach with her!

Bryce had a very pragmatic combination of technical know-how of running companies (raising funding, running teams, building hard tech), and finding purpose and alignment in work. I found this combination to be very effective in identifying blockages for me. Bryce is sharp, experienced, thoughtful, and centered. I'd recommend Bryce as a coach for any founder working in hard tech / science, and especially to do those with an interest in finding personal alignment through their work.

I reached out to Belen when I was unsure about my next career move. She helped me bring clarity to what initially felt overwhelming. What really stood out was her ability to combine a clear, organized approach with very direct, to-the-point feedback. She not only helped me think through my career decisions, but also supported me in preparing case interviews in a way that felt focused and effective. Working with her was a great pleasure.

Will is an excellent tutor with a skill for diagnosing problems/inefficiencies in a student's thinking process. He explains ideas concisely and is very encouraging. Will helps people reach true understanding and deep knowledge of the LSAT, rather than looking simply for correct answers.

Working with Forrest during medical school had a major impact on my residency application. He helped me develop and execute a high-impact research project that became a central part of my application and strengthened my overall profile. What stood out was his ability to take an idea and turn it into something meaningful and publishable, while also keeping the bigger picture in mind. His guidance wasn’t just about the project itself. It was about how to leverage that work effectively during the application process. Because of his mentorship, I felt confident presenting my research and overall application, and I’m grateful to have matched into my #1 internal medicine program. I would strongly recommend Forrest to any medical student looking to elevate their research and approach the residency process strategically.

Working with Forrest as a pre-med undergraduate completely changed my trajectory. Before connecting with him, I had no clear path to getting involved in research or standing out as an applicant. With his mentorship, I was able to contribute to multiple projects and earn several publications. Beyond research, he provided clear, strategic guidance on how to approach the medical school application process. From building a strong overall profile to understanding what actually matters to admissions committees, his advice was both practical and highly effective. What sets Forrest apart is how direct and invested he is. He doesn’t just give general advice, he gives you a plan and helps you execute it. I feel significantly more prepared and competitive because of his mentorship and would strongly recommend him to any pre-med student looking to maximize their chances of getting into medical school.
