I have spent nearly a decade working in MBA admissions, first as a member of the admissions committee at Emory University's Goizueta Business School and subsequently as an independent admissions coach. My AdCom experience gave me direct insight into how applications are evaluated, what makes a candidate compelling, and what causes even strong applicants to be passed over. That perspective informs every aspect of my coaching. As a Graduate Admissions Coach, I have worked with clients from the U.S. and abroad, guiding them through every stage of the MBA application process. My applicants have been admitted to schools including GSB, HBS, Wharton, Sloan, Kellogg, Ross, Cornell, Booth, Haas, Columbia, & Rice. Across first-time applicants, reapplicants, and deferred applicants, they have received hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships. Aside from my experience coaching MBA candidates, I have spent my post-GSB time consulting for founders, early-stage startups, and investors across for-profit and non-profit spaces globally. This has allowed me to uniquely guide current or aspiring entrepreneurs and investors throughout the application process and, for numerous clients, beyond as I’ve continued to be a resource helping to navigate questions regarding financial aid, maximizing the MBA experience, internships, and post-MBA careers. The application process is not easy and for most, including myself when I applied, it’s straight up stressful. I work closely with a limited number of clients, creating bespoke coaching experiences for each, building trust and bringing clarity to an opaque process. I was admitted to HBS in the 2022 cycle, despite having a lower-than-average GMAT, being a first-generation college student, and not hiring a consultant for myself. I'm now a recent graduate from Harvard Business School with extensive experience coaching friends and clients through their MBA applications over the last two years. I was one of six students from my year chosen to participate in HBS' admissions committee, where I supported the admissions team with welcoming students to campus and sharing advice on applying to HBS. Meanwhile, I was actively supporting my friends in their business school ambitions, who are attending HBS, Sloan, Wharton, and Anderson. During the last two MBA application cycles, I have helped at least one client get accepted into all M7 schools. Out of my clients, 5 will be attending HBS, 3 at GSB, 1 at Wharton, 2 at Sloan, 2 at Booth, 1 at Columbia, and 0 for Kellogg (maybe this year). I work full-time at Bain as a consultant, so this is simply something that I'm passionate about and want to continue doing on the side.
