Leland Rankings

Leland Rankings are annual lists of the best Experts, programs and companies for ambitious people, across MBA admissions, consulting, test prep, AI and tech, and early careers. They're built from Leland's own data, along with published sources, and reviewed by our editorial team before they go live.

Most rankings rely on surveys or self-reported data. Leland Rankings start with what we see on Leland every day: who people choose to work with, how they rate every paid session, and where they end up, from the schools they're admitted to to the offers they accept.

From people using Leland to reach their goals. That includes verified reviews left after paid sessions, admits and job offers people report after working with an Expert, and which Experts, schools and companies people choose. We add published data where it helps, like company information, and say so on each list.

A ranked list orders everyone from #1 down, so you can see who leads. A Top 25 list recognizes honorees who all cleared the same bar, with no first or last place. We use Top 25 lists most often for individual Experts.

Leland Rankings currently cover MBA admissions, management consulting, test prep, AI and tech companies, and early career programs like APM roles. New categories and lists are added throughout the year.

Each list follows a published methodology, shown on the list itself. Leland's editorial team reviews every list before it goes live, and the data behind it comes from Leland's platform and the public sources we name.

Experts can't apply or pay to be included. Each list sets a quality bar, such as a minimum rating across verified reviews, and then measures outcomes like admits and the number of people who chose to work with each Expert.

No. Leland Rankings are editorially independent. No one can pay to be included, to change their rank, or to be removed.

Yes. Experts, programs and companies on a list can add an official badge to their website, LinkedIn or email signature. Every badge links back to the live list, so it always shows the current edition.

Each list is updated once a year, and the date of the latest edition is shown at the top of every list. The current editions were published in November 2026.
