I am a PCC certified executive coach, fundraising coach, and project manager with 16+ years of experience. Prior to becoming a coach, I worked in the not-for-profit field as a CEO, COO, and Major Gifts Fundraiser in the educational, cultural, philanthropic and environmental sectors. I have a passion for operations, fundraising, youth engagement and culture building. I coach leaders to find a more gentle, sustainable and fulfilling approach for building an organization where volunteers, staff and board feel they are enough and see each other as collaborators on a mission to build a more just world. I spent ten years leading engineering at LinkedIn and Instacart, most recently as Engineering Director at Instacart. I built and led the most core orgs (shopping and growth) at these cutting edge companies, and was promoted five times within 10 years, chaired promotion committees, grew dozens of engineers into strategic leaders, and led AI adoption inside the org. Most of my clients arrive with feedback like "be more strategic," "we need to see more of you at the senior level," "show more executive presence" — and leave with the real read on what's actually being asked at this level, the shift from being seen as a doer to being trusted as a strategic leader, and a leadership style that holds up under pressure without borrowing from someone else's playbook. I coach from pattern recognition across my own five identity rewrites (IC → TL → Manager → Senior Manager → Director), not frameworks I invented in the abstract.
