16 years running teams, coaching new and first-time managers
I've spent 16 years in Operations and Program Management. I ran Trust and Safety teams ranging from scaling 8 people to 150 globally with Twitter as a client and another from 150 to 450 with Facebook while at Accenture (building most of that headcount myself) eventually owning ProdOps and Account Takeovers at TikTok. Most of what I know I learned by doing the job, usually by getting something wrong first and finding the better way. I hired, promoted and coached the managers on those teams, and coaching them was always the part I loved most. Now I do it on purpose. New managers, people scaling a team that's outgrown its process and anyone interviewing for an operations or program role are my wheelhouse and I'd love to help!
