Career Coaching

Senior Strategy and Ops Associate at LinkedIn, focusing on topics like leading various A/B tests, owning business planning and performance, and co-leading our team's AI Center of Excellence, where I identify and scale AI use cases across our team. Cross-functional collaboration with teams across LinkedIn, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance. Over the years, I’ve coached dozens of students and working professionals from non-target schools who have gone on to land roles at tech companies, startups, banks, and more. I coach because I know how opaque and unfair the recruiting process can feel, especially if you didn’t come from a target school or a traditional business background. I’ve been on the other side of that uncertainty - figuring out networking from scratch, learning how to communicate effectively, and translating my real experience into something firms would value. Coaching lets me shorten that learning curve for others, cut through the online noise and bad advice, and help people approach the process with clarity, structure, and confidence

I've been an advisor, mentor, and coach for hundreds of incredibly talented operators and builders like yourself - from college students and new grads to mid and senior-level professionals. As someone who straddles the line between candidate and hiring manager, I'm uniquely equipped to serve and support you. I'm experienced in resume reviews and interview prep, having been a hiring manager at Google (if that's your thing), in addition to various early-to-growth stage startups. I've landed and been head-hunted for dozens of roles, and can help you not only nail recruiting, but also be hyper-intentional and selective about the opportunities worth your time, energy, and resources. I'm also happy to talk all things career exploration, and help you map out where you want to go based on your strengths, weaknesses, and mid-to-long term personal and professional ambitions.

I want to make it easier and more predictable for others to figure out the strategies needed to get into "elite" institutions like the ones I attended - I had to stumble across these strategies myself, and want to take the guesswork out of the process for others! Most importantly: I'm passionate about helping folks figure out their unique Why - so that they can create a career rocket ship, and craft a compelling narrative for it. (This also involves reframing self-limiting beliefs that have kept you feeling stuck or overwhelmed.) I've worked with tons of clients on both sides of the coin - both those trying to get into the worlds I navigated, and those trying to rediscover a cohesive sense of self and tailored plan for growth, after years or even decades in the corporate world.

I spent 8 years trying to figure out how to climb the corporate ladder and "manage up"; early on in my career, I was unsuccessful. It wasn't until I started establishing relationships with a few helpful mentors, studying for my MBA, and when I volunteered as a Career mentor for undergrad students did I learn from mistakes and start to better understand what was needed to build a successful career. So, utilizing my personal failures and successes, including landing a role as a Sr. Consultant at a Consulting firm, despite applying off-season, and my natural ability to coach, I now help recent undergrads in career development. I particularly enjoy and excel working with recent undergrad students understanding that post graduation is an anxious time, especially for those unsure of their career. Besides providing support and advice, I coach my clients in understanding themselves and determining their goals so that they approach each role confidently and with a strong narrative. Clients of mine have been able to learn sustainable relationship and career building skills, allowing them to make a positive impact in their role and advance in their career.

My mantra is to be helpful. If I'm not helpful, I'll get out of your way. So much about career satisfaction has to do with fit. Find a place that values you for the things you're uniquely good at and being at work can feel fun, exciting, and also rewarding. I attended Harvard for undergrad and Stanford for my masters. I've worked at 10 person start-ups to 100,000 person companies like Google. I've been an individual contributor and also managed teams of 20+; throughout these experiences, I've learned some of the best questions to ask myself (and others) that can help identify and then successfully get into roles with the best fit.

With a strong background in career development and recruiting research, I have helped numerous students and professionals achieve their goals. As a former Career Development Specialist at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, I managed the workflow and delegation of resume reviews, conducted mock interviews, and developed career curriculum and programming for a program of over 1000 students. Additionally, my experience at an executive search firm placing Vice Presidents and C-Suite members gives me the expertise to work with individuals at all stages of their professional journeys. Previous clients are currently working at companies such as Amazon, Roku, JP Morgan, and Cleary Gottlieb. Reach out to me today and let's start working towards your success!
