I’ve navigated a career path that spans consulting, Big Tech, and mid-market PE operations - experiences that give me a unique perspective as a coach. I started in management consulting at Deloitte, advising executives on strategy and transformation. From there, I transitioned into Google, where I worked across partnerships, strategy, and technical sales, learning how to thrive in one of the world’s most competitive tech environments. Today, as a Director of operations at Valsoft, I act as an operations executive across a portfolio of software companies, helping leadership teams grow and operate effectively. Having made these transitions myself, I know firsthand how to break into new industries, succeed once you’re in, and build the skills to lead — and I bring that experience directly into my coaching.

Born in New Jersey and raised in Mexico and Philadelphia, Ben is a senior at Brown University studying International and Public Affairs and Entrepreneurship. He also serves as a mentor and business advisor to graduate student founders in Harvard Business School's Field X and Field Y courses. Ben has experience building companies, including his own, in industries such as technology, social media, entertainment, and education. He has performed internal risk management consulting for Goldman Sachs in New York City and marketing consulting for Soulsight. Ben is a passionate musician and has experience as a professional singer. Ben is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management Program, was a Latitude Fellow at D.E. Shaw & Co., an MLT Career Prep Fellow, a 2021 Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar, and a Bridging the Gap Power Awardee. He also studied at the University of Edinburgh while pursuing his undergraduate degree. In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling (has been to 33 countries so far), playing tennis, scuba diving, and cooking. 5+ years working in Big Tech and Start up Operations 2+ Years serving on Trustee Boards I've helped over 5+ people land their next career move

Experienced CFO, investor, and entrepreneurial leader with a track record of success as a venture investor, business builder, fund-raiser and finance executive. While I continue to invest in venture capital, I developed my coaching practice in 2020 and since then have helped dozens of executives and entrepreneurs upskill, raise capital, find new opportunities, and excel in the new positions. I have done this work across industries, but most of my clients are entrepreneurs in tech/biotech, investment professionals in private equity/venture capital, or in real estate. I started my career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney (now Citi) before getting my MBA at Harvard Business School. I spent several years in private equity and venture capital at Warburg Pincus before moving into public equity investing at hedge funds, including my own for several years. Most recently I pivoted back to venture capital with a new firm, 3Spoke Capital, and spent two years as the CFO of a new AI/medtech venture, PreciseDx, for which I raised over $20MM in a Series B. All the while I was active in the recruitment, training, and management of high performance teams. I know how to build great teams, help you find a role within them, and crush the new job once you secure it.
