I'm a recent graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and incoming Internal Medicine resident at Duke University. I scored a 523 on the MCAT, interviewed at multiple top medical schools, and have successfully navigated both the medical school and residency application processes. I work with students on MCAT preparation, school lists, personal statements, secondary essays, interview preparation, and residency applications. Having recently completed the ERAS cycle, I offer current, practical advice on program selection, interviewing, and rank list strategy. Prior to medical school, I studied Public Policy at Princeton University and decided to pursue medicine later in college. As a result, I have particular insight into the challenges faced by nontraditional applicants and those completing prerequisite coursework outside a traditional premed path. My goal is to help applicants build authentic, compelling applications while navigating the process with confidence.

Hi everyone! My name is Eric, and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (originally from northern New Jersey though!), where I studied biochemistry and biophysics. I was pre-med in college and applied to MD/PhD programs, but I ultimately matriculated to Harvard Medical School for an MD. Having just been through the medical school admissions process and taking no gap years, I know what it's like to be a student with multiple demands on a high-intensity (but super rewarding!) path. I've loved coaching my friends in building medical school applications and writing essays, and I hope to work with you too!

My name is Manjima, and I'm a current MD-PhD student at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Before UNC, I was a biomedical engineering and neuroscience student at the University of Southern California, and a master's student at the University of Oxford. My path to medical school was definitely not a straight line, and it took me a lot of time to recognize and accept that this was my dream. There were a thousand moments during this journey where I worried that my GPA was too low, or my clinical experiences not impactful enough, or research not high-profile enough for me to get to where I wanted to be. But, I knew that if I could craft a compelling narrative around my experiences and background, and communicate this story authentically to admissions committees, that I'd have a shot at success. And eventually that paid off! My first cycle applying to medical school, I received 11+ interviews to a combination of MD, MD/PhD, and MSTP programs. I personally relied heavily on coaches and mentors to get me through my admissions process. As a non-traditional applicant, I did not have the support of pre-professional advising through universities. And many other "advisors" were quick to dismiss me based on what they saw as my perceived weaknesses. But I was lucky enough to find coaches and mentors who spent many hours working with me to craft my story, swamping through drafts and re-drafts of hundreds of essays, helping me with mock interviews, refining my elevator pitch, and listening to my research talks. Without their support, I would not be where I am today, and I hope to pay that forward to future generations of students.

Hey there! I’m currently a fourth-year medical student at Stanford, where my research focuses on psychiatry and neurology. Unlike many of my peers, my path to medicine was deeply shaped by the humanities. I graduated from Harvard, where I earned a rare joint concentration in neuroscience and philosophy. After college, I earned a master’s degree from Duke in bioethics, technology ethics, and science policy, and I furthered my neurophilosophy studies as a Fulbright scholar in Germany before starting medical school. I believe medical school admissions is about more than just getting accepted — it’s a rare opportunity for deep reflection and growth. When approached with purpose and intention, the process can shape how you move through the rest of your life and career. I bring a unique background to this work, drawing on years of experience supporting students during some of their most vulnerable moments — as a peer mental health counselor, a member of Harvard’s Honor Council, and a student representative on several faculty committees. I’ve developed a keen ability to understand each student’s journey and help them express it clearly, powerfully, and authentically. Choosing to work with me means more than partnering with a Harvard alum, Fulbright scholar, and Stanford medical student who has gone through this process personally — it means working with someone who has helped his own siblings through this exact process, a community member known as the go-to for college and graduate school advice, and a former admissions professional at Ardent Academy. As the Assistant Dean for Diversity for the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania I was on its Admissions Committee and also served on the National Admissions Committee at the Association of American Medical Colleges for a while. As a result of these experiences, I developed expertise in advising students on their academic qualifications and extracurricular activities necessary for medical school acceptance. I've had much success helping students be accepted to top-tier medical schools which were: Penn, Harvard, Columbia, Case Western, Wake Forrest, Brown, UCLA and Jefferson.
