I’m an incoming medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine (UPenn) and a QuestBridge Match recipient with a Bachelor's in Biology and a minor in Health Studies from Haverford College. I’ve spent the past 3+ years as a writing and biology tutor, working closely with students to strengthen their scientific understanding, refine their writing, and develop compelling, authentic personal statements. I know firsthand what it takes to build an application that stands out while remaining authentic to your interests. As an environmental studies major and Spanish minor at Dartmouth College, I pursued the subjects and extracurriculars I was genuinely passionate about en route to medical school. Despite an academic focus that largely deviated from the traditional pre-medical mold, I was able to curate an application with broad appeal, earning medical school interview invitations to 16 schools, including many of the nation's most selective programs. And with targeted interview preparation where I embraced rather than downplayed these experiences, I was accepted to more than half of the programs where I interviewed.
