Jibreel has helped clients get into these schools:
I've built my path to medicine on real work. I've been an ocean lifeguard and EMT, a scribe, and provided relief medicine at the border, worked global health in India, and trained in tactical medicine since childhood. These weren't resume line items. They shaped how I understand what medicine actually is and who belongs in it. I know the application process from the inside because I've lived it. I've written personal statements that work. I've navigated research projects and built a track record. I'm currently conducting grant-funded brain injury research at UCLA and splitting my clinical time between emergency medicine rotations and mentoring premeds. I've also been through the entire cycle from admission to residency rank lists which means I understand not just how to get in, but what happens after you do and what matters for your next step. What I bring to coaching is pattern recognition earned through doing the work myself, not theories about what committees want. I know how to help you articulate what you've actually done in a way that's credible and compelling. I mentor premeds regularly because I'm invested in people who are serious about medicine getting there. That same investment shapes how I work with applicants: clarity over hype, authenticity over tactics, building an application that reflects who you actually are.

I originated a prospective study of brain injury in big wave surfers, building the protocol from concept through IRB approval during my Discovery Year, and now serve as co-investigator under my faculty mentor from the department of neurology. The work secured competitive AAN Medical Student Research Scholarship funding and collected data from 20 participants across 203 sessions using accelerometry, validated concussion assessment (SCAT6), and wearable biometrics. We have a manuscripts in submission and another in preparation for peer-reviewed publication, an oral presentation accepted to the International Neurotrauma Society conference (Cartagena, Oct 2026), and a British Journal of Sports Medicine submission.

I'm a fourth-year medical student at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. I've lived the med school application cycle and everything after, from personal statement to residency rank lists, and I know what works first hand from my experience with colleagues and successful mentees.
