About Harshini
Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Harshini, and I am an MBA student at Harvard Business School, graduating in the Class of 2027. My background is in engineering, with previous experience at AST SpaceMobile and Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security division. I have led engineering teams, optimized operations for complex aerospace systems, and developed strategic tools that improve efficiency and decision-making. I have also worked across satellite communications, defense systems, and commercial aviation, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the aerospace industry’s hiring landscape. As a coach, I specialize in helping others with the MBA application process, including deferred MBA programs. If you're a non-traditional applicant like me, you've come to right place! I will help make sure you've got all the tools you need to be a competitive applicant at the top schools. I also help with resume reviews, cover letter reviews, and internship and job searches in the aerospace industry, drawing on my knowledge of aerospace recruiting practices and strategic storytelling to equip my clients with the tools they need to stand out in a competitive market. Beyond my professional work, I am an advocate for STEM empowerment and love to spend time volunteering in the community, both at charity boutique Suited for Change and the National Air and Space Museum in D.C. I love to cook and bake, read books, watch movies, travel and explore the city in my time off.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve seen firsthand how talented, capable people across industries undersell their abilities on paper — and miss out on opportunities they deserve. During my career, I learned that the right mix of clear storytelling, technical credibility, and strategic positioning can completely change how a candidate is perceived. For me, coaching is a way to level the playing field — especially for students, early-career professionals, and those from underrepresented backgrounds. I want to give my clients the tools, confidence, and clarity to present themselves in a way that allows them to boldly take the next step in their career.
