David has helped clients get into these companies:
I previously worked at Faire, Grow Therapy, and Better.com on their Strategy and Biz Ops & Analytics teams prior to transitioning into Venture Capital. In addition to my professional experience, I have successfully navigated the competitive hiring processes of top-tier organizations, earning multiple offers across various industries including DoorDash and Nordstrom (Enterprise Strategy). As a coach, I’m here to help others refine their interviewing skills (behavioral, case, and technical / analytical), craft compelling resumes, and position themselves as standout candidates in a highly competitive job market. About David
I started my career in consulting at PwC, then transitioned into tech where I held both technical and non-technical roles across strategy, analytics, and operations. I eventually broke into VC through a non-traditional path — without an MBA, banking background, or a straight shot from undergrad. Today, I work at Greycroft as Senior Associate in a hybrid role that spans both investing and operating. I work closely with early-stage founders on everything from go-to-market strategy to product and fundraising support, as well, conduct the full investing process for follow-on capital decisions. In terms of coaching specialize in helping: 1. Consultants and tech professionals break into VC (even without the “perfect” background) 2. Job seekers land strategy, analytics, or BizOps roles at high-growth startups 3. Candidates refine their resume, storytelling, and interview skills for top-tier roles I know firsthand what it’s like to carve your own path — and I coach with that mindset. Whether you're looking to break into VC, pivot out of consulting, or move into a strategic startup role, I’ll help you build a compelling story and land the opportunities you’re aiming for.
Why do I coach?
I’ve taken a non-linear path into VC and tech, and I know how hard it can be to break into competitive roles without the “perfect” background. Coaching gives me a way to pay it forward — helping others craft their story, build confidence, and land roles they’re genuinely excited about.
