While I was preparing for my university applications, I recognized that one of the most important components of the application is the essay and having a hook in extracurricular activities. It's not the GPA/SAT score like many believe (which in actuality is only a checkbox for the admissions committee). I was able to fully understand how the admissions committee evaluates an application after reading my Stanford application and the admission committee comments on there. Beyond the basics of the application from helping with SAT prep and extracurricular planning, I will focus my time on being able to translate your extracurricular activities into a meaningful essay and supplementals.

As a member of the Campus Interview Team while at Washington University in St. Louis and an alumni interviewer through the Alumni & Parents Admission Program, I know what colleges are looking for in their interviews and how to stand out. I also have extensive experience with resume review as I ran a hiring accelerator for one of my McKinsey clients, served as the Events Lead for McKinsey's WashU Recruiting where we ran resume workshops, and am my friends' go to person for resume reviews.

Professionally, I have worked at Stanford and Northwestern Universities in a variety of capacities. At Stanford, I worked with international and transfer applications. At Northwestern, I was in the admissions office for 7 years, and oversaw the entire reading and application review process - including training all part-time readers, writing the reader handbook, and directing the application review. As an admissions director, I oversaw applications from around United States and international applications from Europe, China, Singapore, and more. She also directed the transfer admissions process at Northwestern University. After admissions, I was Managing Director, Operations at Kellogg School of Management and the Director of Learning and Development for the Chicago Entrepreneurial Center. ​ Since leaving the admissions, I recognize my wealth of knowledge can help demystify the process for students. I works with individuals to step into their own potential in a space fraught with myths and confusion.
