I'm a Harvard Business School MBA with a Northwestern undergrad degree in journalism. In my 10 years of MBA admissions work, I've coached clients who have been accepted at all M7 schools and they have earned more than $2 million in merit scholarships. I absolutely love helping applicants uncover their unique differentiators, which we all have but often people don't know how to identify them. I've worked with hundreds of applicants on every aspect of MBA applications from school selection to essays to interviews. My experience in journalism and public relations before my MBA and human capital consulting after HBS allows me to help my clients craft the most compelling and clear narratives for business school. I earned my MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth after a career as a physician, with a Yale MPH along the way. I understand exactly how admissions committees read an application: how to turn an unconventional background into a standout story, how to make essays authentic and differentiated instead of generic, how to choose schools strategically, and how to prep your recommenders and nail the interview. I later became a Vice President in Healthcare Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and served on recruiting teams that evaluated scores of candidates; so, I know what excellence looks like on paper and in the room, and I bring that same discerning eye to your candidacy. I work especially well with healthcare and non-traditional applicants (including MD/MBA and other dual-degree paths), though I coach applicants from every background. I graduated from NYU Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and English, and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, where I focused on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. That gives me a current, first-hand perspective on what M7 adcoms are actually looking for. My career in this work started in Singapore, at a test prep and admissions firm I helped expand into Shanghai, running tutoring and admissions consulting in both markets before coming back to New York to found my own practice. That international background means I'm equally comfortable working with US candidates and applicants from Asia, Europe, and beyond, particularly the kinds of candidates who often have the strongest stories but the hardest time articulating them: finance professionals reinventing themselves, engineers making a pivot, non-traditional career switchers.
