About
I've coached more than 200 MBA applicants for 10+ years with admits to every M7 program. With a background in public relations and human capital consulting, I've worked with clients across all industries and functions to present their strongest versions of themselves to admissions committees. If you have a more nontraditional background I can help you showcase how what you've done translates to what MBA admissions committees are seeking. If you're coming from a traditional MBA pipeline like consulting or finance, I'll help you uncover and communicate your unique differentiators. My coaching style is very hands-on and high-touch. I believe in forging a strong personal connection with my clients so I can help them unlock the parts of their backgrounds that are most interesting to share with admissions, which aren’t always found in their work responsibilities. Outside of MBA coaching, I'm endlessly curious about other places, cultures, food, and the people who live there. I’ve traveled extensively throughout Asia, including China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India, as well as across Africa, Europe, and parts of Central and South America.

Jennifer has helped clients get into these schools:
I'm a Harvard Business School MBA with a Northwestern undergrad degree in journalism. In my 10 years of MBA admissions work, I've coached clients who have been accepted at all M7 schools and they have earned more than $2 million in merit scholarships. I absolutely love helping applicants uncover their unique differentiators, which we all have but often people don't know how to identify them. I've worked with hundreds of applicants on every aspect of MBA applications from school selection to essays to interviews. My experience in journalism and public relations before my MBA and human capital consulting after HBS allows me to help my clients craft the most compelling and clear narratives for business school. I can also relate firsthand to those who have a more untraditional background (public relations certainly was not a popular entry point to HBS when I applied!) although I've worked with many clients from all industries, functions and geographies. I would love to meet you and be your guide on the path to your dream MBA program.

Why do I coach?
I coach because I love people! I am incredibly interested in what makes someone tick and why, and this job allows me to help others discover just that. I get so excited when I can help applicants unlock their story and package it together to tell it to admissions. I know that no two people are alike, and that no two applicants are alike, even though they may have strikingly similar resumes and backgrounds. I'm here to help them uncover what makes them different and why.
