When I was applying to business schools, I had no direct experience of applying to US schools. However, my goal was to apply to internationally recognized business schools to ensure that I got the full benefit of taking 2 years out of my career to study full time. I had a small network of friends and mentors that had successfully been admitted into top-tier schools like HBS, Stanford GSB, MIT Sloan, and LBS. Without their guidance, I would not have successfully been admitted into my schools of choice. My MBA opened up opportunities for me to pivot from working in mining, to management consulting at BCG, and subsequently to senior strategy and operations roles at Capital One and Google. Now, I would love to pay it back - especially to folks with non-traditional backgrounds! Welcome to my profile! I’m an MBA graduate from Harvard Business School and have worked in marketing and strategy roles across both B2B and B2C businesses in the US and Latin America. Across these experiences, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to turn non-linear experiences into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with customers, admissions teams, classmates, and employers. As a coach, I focus on helping MBA applicants make sense of their story through structured, curiosity-driven conversations. I’m especially interested in helping non-traditional applicants uncover the through-line in their experiences and translate it into an authentic application that helps them stand out. I’ve worked with applicants to refine their narratives and strengthen their positioning to build confidence in how they present their voice throughout the admissions process. I’ve been through the MBA application process myself, and I know how much of it comes down to telling a clear, honest story about where you’ve been and where you want to go. I earned my MBA from Wharton (Class of 2026, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation) and my BS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford. Before business school I was a consultant at BCG, where I also led Black and Latinx associate recruiting for the Seattle office. I supported 10 candidates through the application process, three of whom joined the firm, and mentored four interns who all received return offers. I’ve also worked in business operations at Motive and as a strategy consultant to Tracy McGrady’s Ones Basketball League, so I can help whether you’re coming from a traditional path like consulting or making a less conventional pivot. At Wharton I co-chaired the Africa Business Forum and served as CFO of the Entrepreneurship Club, which gave me a close look at how classmates from very different backgrounds made their case for business school. I’d love to help you figure out what makes your story distinct, sharpen your essays and resume, and walk into interviews prepared and confident.

I have coached 8 veterans as they transition from the military to various Business Schools, to include Harvard, Stanford, Kellogg, and Booth. I have experience and demonstrated results with proofreading essays and crafting resumes. I have also helped several business school students prepare for job interviews, and I currently support Danaher's MBA recruiting efforts. While I specialize in non-traditional candidates, I have experience with traditional candidates who are applying to business school and those applying to consulting.
