I served on the MBA Admissions Committees at Columbia Business School, where I reviewed applications and interviewed candidates, and later worked as an MBA Admissions Interviewer/Reader at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. My extensive background in talent acquisition and recruiting at prestigious firms like Bain has honed my skills in resume coaching and interview preparation. I graduated Harvard Business School in 2018 and one of the favorite parts of school was serving as an admissions representative and helping prospective students navigate the admissions process. I am passionate and excited to help clients pursue their business degree in the way and place that best fits their needs. Before business school I worked as a marketing engineer at Texas Instruments (yes, the calculator company) in a role that was a liaison between our sellers in the field and engineers at corporate. It was a great job but I knew I wanted to learn more about business through an MBA. I quickly realized telling my story and background was tricky for a business setting because of how “non traditional” it was. Thus began my hate-affair with the phrase “non traditional”. I believe anyone and everyone regardless of your background has something to contribute to and can benefit from a business education. Thinking through what that could look like for clients and sharing what I’ve learned from my research and experience is why I coach in my spare time. After graduating HBS, I received a full time off from my internship in strategy and operations at Google and now work in the office of the CTO at Verily. During my time at Google, I helped Google Cloud scale with the growing industry and also worked part time in our internal incubator, Area120, on an AI integrated home fitness platform startup and now do chief of staff/strat ops functions for Verily's tech org. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs, scuba diving, teaching fitness classes, and watching college football.

I was admitted to every school I applied to: Stanford (GSB), Harvard (HBS), MIT (Sloan), UChicago (Booth), and Northwestern (Kellogg). With the insights I gained through my own application process + six years of experience in the education space (developing programming for thousands of students, co-founding an ed-tech startup, and mentoring dozens of students 1:1), I'm excited to support your MBA journey!

I spent 12 years as a staff member at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, working closely with MBA students and supporting the admissions team. During my tenure at Wharton, I acted as a trusted adviser to prospective applicants as well as admitted and matriculated students. I conducted admissions chats with applicants early in the admissions process, administered interviews with hopeful students, read and reviewed completed applicant files, and also participated in admissions committee meetings. Additionally, I also represented the school at recruiting and welcome events. Prior to joining Wharton, I spent 5 years as a journalist, writing and editing for a number of mid-sized newspapers on both the East and West coasts. I earned my undergraduate degree in journalism from Penn State University and I also hold a Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

I am an HBS 2+2 admit with acceptances from several other top deferred programs (Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Columbia, and Berkeley) and am also a recipient of both the Schwarzman Scholarship and Princeton in Asia Fellowship. I have extensive experience with crafting personal statements, securing letters of recommendation, preparing for behavioral interviews, and general application strategy. Although each deferred admissions application has its own idiosyncrasies, they all require you to tell your unique story through a combination of essays, recommendations, and other aspects of the application — I can help you present your best, most polished self for your strongest chance at success!
