MBA Admissions

Welcome to my profile! With over 20 years of experience in MBA and specialty master's admissions, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the competitive application process. As a former admissions advisor at MIT, I have firsthand knowledge of evaluating and interviewing candidates. My role as an MBA Admissions Counselor at Stratus Admissions Counseling has allowed me to coach over 100 candidates on application strategy, school selection, and interview preparation, earning top reviews on Poets&Quants and GMAT Club. My clients have earned over $6.5M in merit scholarships and Forte and Consortium fellowships since 2021. I am passionate about helping you craft a compelling application that stands out. Let's work together to achieve your MBA goals!

I was admitted to every school I applied to: Stanford (GSB), Harvard (HBS), MIT (Sloan), UChicago (Booth), and Northwestern (Kellogg). With the insights I gained through my own application process + six years of experience in the education space (developing programming for thousands of students, co-founding an ed-tech startup, and mentoring dozens of students 1:1), I'm excited to support your MBA journey!

I have extensive experience coaching across all aspects of MBA admissions: 1. I have helped 30+ students get into top MBA programs, including HBS, Stanford GSB, Wharton, etc. I also have experience helping several students get into top executive or non-traditional programs (Stanford MSx, Wharton EMBA, etc.). 2. I am a former professional writer, and I have helped almost all of my students brainstorm, recraft, tune, and edit their essays. This is primarily what I help with for MBA applications. 3. I spent years tutoring standardized tests (GRE, GMAT, SAT). While I no longer offer tutoring services, I can help you develop a study plan and tackle weak points. 4. I am a professional resume reviewer for both MBA admissions and consulting applications. 5. Additionally, I was part if the Student Admissions Program for the Wharton MBA program

Expert storyteller for M7 MBAs, especially if you're interested in using the MBA to make a positive impact on society. As a non-traditional government consulting applicant admitted to 3 M7s, I guide your application journey across essays, resumes, and interviews. I have experience across private, public, and non-profit sectors and understand how to craft stories that are personal and compelling to admissions committees. This approach has helped several clients overcome weaknesses to get into their top choice programs at Harvard, MIT, CBS, and other elite programs. The difference is a storytelling formula that I provide to my applicants.

Hi! I'm a Harvard MBA graduate and received admission through the deferred admit / 2+2 program (with a GMAT of 760). I've had a diverse set of work experiences both before HBS (venture capital, social activism, government) and since (Goldman Sachs, The Economist, and now transitioning into creative work / poetry). I love coaching people and particularly enjoy helping international students, and students from unconventional or underrepresented backgrounds. Funnily I've also had a lot of experience getting rejected from places (across sectors and regions!) - which has taught me a lot about what works, and what doesn't -- and how to stay sane through it all :)

I'm a London Business School alumnus and interviewer who started A1 MBA Consultants (A1mba.com). I have helped 120+ students, including ex-Formula 1 Race Driver Nicholas Latifi, get into their dream MBA program at schools such as HBS, Stanford GSB, Columbia, Wharton, Kellogg, London Business School, INSEAD, Oxford, Cambridge, and many more. I adopt a comprehensive and much more hands-on approach than your typical consultant, leveraging my insights into what adcoms want that I gained from being an interviewer. Partner with me and I will work to make your business school application journey a successful one.

I have advised 100+ applicants pursuing MBA and/or MPP applications to top institutions, helping applications secure admissions and a combined $500,000+ in scholarship money. Yes, that's over 10 candidates a year, with most of them receiving some form of financial aid! I will help you ethically secure scholarship funding where possible post-admissions (I.e., only after you've decided which school you'd like to attend!).

Applied to M7 business schools and graduated from MIT Sloan in 2022. As a person who came from a non-business background and was looking to come to b-school as a career pivot, I can help with anything related to career transition, picking the best school, telling your story, and the end-to-end application process. As someone who has gone through the application process and has worked with admissions, I can help you identify the most compelling aspects of your story to land the b-school you want!
