I graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2024, where I received the Miller Social Change Leadership Award and the Building Opportunities for Leadership Diversity (BOLD) Fellowship. What gives me a unique perspective on crafting standout MBA applications is both the range and intentionality of my journey. I have worked across consulting, government, nonprofits, and startups in the U.S. and Latin America. As a biracial, first-generation student from a lower-income background with many different academic/professional interests and experiences (I've completed 13 internships between college and grad school!), I've often navigated spaces without a clear playbook and learned how to translate my experiences into a compelling narrative along the way. Because I have had to deeply reflect and connect the dots across my own path, I bring a thoughtful and structured approach to storytelling. Most MBA applicants look very similar on paper, especially those coming from consulting or IB. The difference between getting in and getting rejected often comes down to how well you differentiate your story. I’m a strong MBA coach because I understand exactly what it takes to stand out in a highly competitive applicant pool. Coming from a consulting background at a top-tier firm with a business degree, my profile initially looked quite “standard.” I successfully developed a distinctive narrative that helped me gain admission to my dream program at MIT Sloan. Beyond admissions, I also navigated the financial side of the MBA journey, securing multiple scholarships—particularly those available to German-speaking applicants. This allows me to help candidates not only get in, but also make their MBA financially viable. Over the past few years, I’ve mentored several prospective applicants with similar consulting backgrounds, supporting them end-to-end, from school selection and storytelling to essays and interview preparation. Many have gone on to receive offers from top programs. I combine firsthand experience, a structured consulting mindset, and personalized coaching to help candidates craft applications that truly stand out.

🟢 While I only applied to Columbia Business School, I believe the key aspects to MBA admission (GMAT, essays, references, alumni interview, and ultimately positioning yourself) are largely the same across all programs 🟢 That said, if you're looking for school-specific admissions on advice, I can only speak to CBS 🟢 In the decade+ since graduating, I've directly coached a handful of applicants and guided dozens more as they each embarked on their own admissions journey 🟢 Lastly, while it makes me feel old, I'm also proud to say I've written reference letters for a handful of HBS and Stanford GSB students who have all since graduated and are doing great things 🙋🏻‍♂️ Here to help!
