Hi, I’m Dr. Alex Piedra — a practicing pediatric dentist, entrepreneur, and dental school admissions coach. I am an undergrad graduate from BYU. I also graduated from the highly sought after University of Utah School of Dentistry and now teach Foundations of Dentistry at Baylor University, where I mentor pre-dental students and guide them toward their goals with clarity and confidence. Beyond academics, I own and operate four successful pediatric dental practices, giving me firsthand insight into both the clinical and business sides of dentistry. I was a tour guide at Cornell and spent a lot of time with prospective students. At the dental school at UPenn I was involved with a dental fraternity and spent a lot of time with students from different years- got to know a lot of different students/networked with prospective students. I was editor-in-chief of my yearbook in high school and have always loved reading and writing. I feel passionately about the institutions that I went to and would love to help students maximize their potential and opportunity to gain the experiences that I had.
